Dr. Sara Adabi obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine where she was awarded the prestigious UC Regents Scholarship for academic excellence. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) where she was recognized for academic excellence and outstanding leadership. Following dental school, Dr. Adabi completed an orthodontic fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center where she spearheaded research in innovative procedures and treatments. After the fellowship, she returned to UCSF where she earned a Master’s degree in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences and a certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Adabi strongly believes orthodontics transforms people’s smiles and as a result their lives. One of the most fulfilling and inspiring parts of her career has been her involvement in local community programs and international humanitarian initiatives. She is grateful and humbled for the lifelong friendships and mentors she acquainted during her journey and is excited to continue the UCSF tradition of giving back to the community and empowering the next generation of healthcare professionals.
